Dr. Matthew Polster, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Matthew Polster graduated with honors from Pacific University with his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2015. He began his optometric career with the Air Force, serving at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho and Ramstein Air Base in Germany. He left active duty service in 2020 to return to the Pacific NW and joined the Washington Air National Guard, where he continues to serve part-time today.

Dr. Polster joined Grays Harbor Vision Clinic in 2024, where he is proud to take care of patients of all ages. He is a member of Optometric Physicians of Washington and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He has participated in humanitarian missions to provide no cost eye care for communities in Costa Rica with Pacific University and in underserved communities in Delaware through the military. One night each month, he volunteers locally at the Olympia Union Gospel Mission vision clinic.

Outside of the clinic, Matt enjoys hiking, kayaking, and otherwise exploring nature with his wife, Brenda, their three growing kids, and their energetic Aussie doodle.
